St Paul de Vence is located in the Alpes-Maritimes department on the highest part of Cagnes-sur-Mer between La Colle sur Loup and Vence. St-Paul-de-Vence is famous in the whole world thanks to its art galleries and the Maeght foundation which organises temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. It is located on the Gardettes hill. In the village, one will find a pétanque court at the entrance with some plane trees and a café. This square is well-know as two famous French people – Yves Montant and Simone Signoret – met there in 1949. On Wednesday, a market takes place there.
